Well I was in Rodillian today for the first sizable amount of time for a couple of weeks, I had some time off due to exams at uni. It was the same old story, broken kit, kids that should be shot not taught, a school that's falling down around you and generally no budget - don't get me started on the budget. Anyway there are plans to get the Music Department back up to scratch, mainly by repairing all the kit and generally having a clear out.
I started with the office where I threw out a huge amount of rubbish that Matt had been keeping for no reason at all. The office is going to become a piano teaching room so the back of C5 is the next target as that is where all the stuff that was in the office will be kept.
Other than work I went and met up with Becky from the Backstage Society. At a previous event I left my hoodie and she kept hold of it for me so we decided to meet up and have a drink, or three. I actually really enjoyed chatting to her, something about her is just, erm, really pleasant and friendly. Even though she took the Mick out of me for my pronunciation of sofa! tut.
